BBC Focus were delighted to broadcast 'In Conversation with Professor Andre Geim', live from Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry on Thurs 29 September.

Hosted by author, journalist and museum executive Roger Highfield, Professor Sir Andre Geim discussed his unique and creative approach to scientific research, from levitating frogs to the groundbreaking experiments that produced graphene, the 2D material which is paving the way to a range of wonder materials with extraordinary properties.

The event coincided with Wonder Materials: Graphene and Beyond, a free exhibition showing at the Museum of Science and Industry until 25 June 2017.
