Monstrous mutations, organ-eating serial killers, spontaneous combustion… sounds like The X-Files.
Monstrous mutations, organ-eating serial killers, spontaneous combustion… sounds like The X-Files. But in Fringe, from Lost co-creator JJ Abrams, strange occurrences seem to be connected. Fringe follows the FBI team investigating these incidents as it uses unconventional ‘fringe science’ methods to unravel the mystery. There are some interesting characters on the team: Agent Olivia Dunham talks to her dead boyfriend, while Dr Walter Bishop spent 17 years in a mental institution for being, well, a mad scientist.
Fringe is easier to follow than Lost, but there’s also no shortage of plot twists and weird cliffhangers to keep you confused… and hooked.
