More and more exoplanets are being discovered all the time, and those we have found are being studied for signs of life. Current telescopes, such as the Very Large Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope are already performing amazing feats, looking deep into the Universe. Only time will tell what discoveries the future's telescopes, like the Extremely Large Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope, will bring.
