Virtual reality, or VR, gaming allows users to experience and interact with a three dimensional virtual world. These computer-generated worlds may be realistic or fantastical, but either way they offer players an immersive gaming experience. VR gaming requires a display device, such as a VR headset, and a controller. More sophisticated VR sets are starting to incorporate motion tracking using sensors attached to different parts of the body, negating the need for a controller.
Excited about virtual reality gaming yet? If not you should be, because these new games announced by Sony for the PlayStation VR look pretty mind-blowing.
