Millie Kerr

Millie Kerr is a multimedia storyteller focused on wildlife conservation. A former attorney and graduate of the University of Cambridge’s master’s in conservation leadership program, Millie has spent the last decade writing about global wildlife conservation and ecotourism, mainly as a freelance journalist. Her creative essays and reported articles have appeared in dozens of publications, among them The Economist, National Geographic Traveler, The New York Times, Popular Science, and The Wall Street Journal. She has worked for a number of global conservation organisations, as well, both as a communications consultant and full-time employee. In 2020, Millie’s first book, The Adventures of Ellie & Boo, was published; the whimsical middle grade novel is designed to motivate the next generation of conservationists. When she’s not writing, Millie, who is from Texas but lives in England, can be found in nature with her camera.
