Can you run a Mac operating system on a PC?
Windows got you down? Trying Mac on your PC might be an option.
Asked by: Ian Tidebrook, Preston
You can, but Apple doesn't like it. In April, a Miami-based company started selling PCs installed with Mac OS.
But in so doing, it violated the Mac OS licensing agreement, so when Apple called in the lawyers the Miami outfit mysteriously became rather elusive.
Various hackers do run Mac OS on their PCs but it isn't easy to do. And on the other side, it's possible to run Microsoft Windows within OSX operating systems.
