    Apple

    Founded in California in 1976, Apple is the world's largest technology company. Steve Jobs, one of the co-founders worked with Jonathan Ive to design the iPod and the iPhone as well as hardware like the iPad and the MacBook. Apple have developed their own iOS operating system, iTunes media player and Safari internet browser. Over 100 billion apps, short self-contained pieces of software, have been downloaded from their AppStore. In 2015 Apple's revenue was 1.25 per cent of the GDP of the United States.
