Astronauts who went on the Apollo Moon missions were equipped with a Swedish-made Hasselblad camera. Now, many of these photos have been made freely available via the Flickr account Project Apollo Archives. We’ve picked out 49 of our favourites from the enormous 11,600-image collection, showing the barrenness of the Moon, the vastness of space and the humanity of the mission.
