Can you develop dyslexia as an adult?

If you’re finding it harder to read as you get older, it may just be a normal part of ageing.

Yes. Sometimes this is just childhood dyslexia that isn’t diagnosed until much later. But it is also possible to develop the same symptoms as a result of brain injury or dementia. In fact, a 2012 study at the University of Dundee concluded that the normal process of ageing tends to make us mildly dyslexic as we get older.
